(W)holistic Science Pedagogy & Climate Justice

  • This 3.5 hour professional learning session takes a deep look at the ideas and resources featured in a webinar with Dr. Philip Bell, Dr. Deb L. Morrison, Dr. Alexis Patterson Williams, and Dr. Salina Gray. Educators will consider how science can be a tool for liberation and social justice in K-12 classrooms, and participate in an activity that illustrates the commitments of (W)holistic Science Pedagogy as described by Drs. Patterson Williams and Gray.
  • Meant to be paired with the corresponding Climate Teacher Ed Webinar from UW Institute of Science + Math Education to facilitate educator learning about the featured form of climate justice learning pedagogy for their own local context.
