Teaching for Climate Justice and Student Action
- This 4.5 hour professional learning session takes a deep look at the ideas and resources featured in a webinar with Dr. Philip Bell, Dr. Deb L. Morrison, and Tim Swinehart. Educators will explore how to navigate school systems to be able to engage students in climate action and activism, consider how to engage students in climate learning in hopeful ways, and engage in a model lesson.
- Meant to be paired with the corresponding Climate Teacher Ed Webinar from UW Institute of Science + Math Education to facilitate educator learning about the featured form of climate justice learning pedagogy for their own local context.
